Ooops, how did I not see this. With the way we do hiatuses, you actually need to comment to your original post to tell us when you come back. This is to avoid accidentally taking people off hiatus while they're actually still gone-- if somebody tells us that they will come back on a certain date, but then they're for some reason unable to either come off or tell us that they need an extension, it'd be pretty unfortunate for us to go "oh, they said they'd come back on [date] and that's passed already; they must be back" and then remove them from hiatus-- especially if something like activity check is coming up. These monthly checks we run are to differentiate between those who just forgot to come off hiatus, and those who really have been on hiatus for approaching three months and need a poke about it.

Going on hiatus until my mom goes through and recovers from surgery, and I can settle down from taking care of her and the house. Hopefully this'll be a week or two, and not anything more.
