Someone had figured out the phone, look! And while she did not understand what his message meant (thank god), she did recognize his voice!

"Nathan! Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, hi!!! This is Ramona and I'm using the phone by myself. I found candy! You can't have any though 'cause it's secret candy okay? Okay bye!"

And then about thirty seconds of clattering as Ramona tried to hang up a cell phone by setting it down, and then static. Because she didn't hang it up at all. This is why four year-olds don't usually have phone privileges.
