So, what are your plans, then? Taking classes, yes. But where will you work? Will you work at home?

What's the big deal with getting a clearance, anyway? Will you be able to go absolutely anywhere with a clearance? I'm technically with the Navy working for their youth center and I still don't know anything about that.

And clearances are needed for government projects classified as secret, top secret, etc. These days, more and more information is done that way, and they can't keep up with the clearance process, so anyone who has one is in hot demand.
I don't know if the work is more exciting or not, as I've heard anything from it's no different than what I do to the fact that it's actually so locked down that it's frustrating and kind of boring. I guess it depends on the project. Regardless, it means a lot of job security and more money, as long as you don't mind the government having its eyes on you at all times.
