Hmmm... I guess I should have made arrangements with my closely associated bodywork expert before I went out on the ride.
Especially given that my legs still feel kind of beat today.
Interestingly, although my legs were barely up for 15 miles, my cardio just seemed to be breezing long. So maybe all that walking in Mexico and New Orleans helped keep things in ok cardio shape, if not bicycling muscle shape.
Although I was a little cardio concerned when climbing some pyramids at Teotihuacan. But I think the 7,500 foot altitude had more than something to do with that, as I was perfectly happy climbing the Mayan pyramids in the sea level Yucatan.
