my parents dropped the bomb on me this weekend that i am pretty much not a kid anymore, and im not too happy about it. keith (my younger brother) is getting his license and apparently we'll be sharing a car. this tidbit of news brought on a whole onslaught of garbage, including but not limited to ( Read more... )

i understand 100%. i knew moving out to california was going to be a reality check because of all the expenses i'd have to take on, but it's so overwhelming when it finally happens. i now pay for rent ($500/mo) renters insurance, water, cable, internet, phone ($30/mo) electricity (between $20-30) health insurance (i had to buy it because i was jobless for a while $78/mo) cell phone ($50/mo) car insurance (i pay every 6 months, $400) groceries, gas and occasionally liam and i go to a movie or something. liam and i have been living without furniture in our living room area for over a month (we just got a new place of our own). Lots of bad shit has gone down since we've been here but i just remind meself that life is a series of changes and you need to go through some to get on the right track. so in your case being without music and not having money for a while is just what you have to do until you can have it again. i'm going to shut up now. i guess i just needed to complain too.

even with all this i wouldn't change a thing.

yeah i can imagine. i think having to be on the other side of the country adds to the stress too. not having a place of refuge and safety can be pretty scary i bet when youre on your own. but yeah i agree that its a step everyones gotta take and i guess the sooner you do it, the sooner you'll be out of debt and living it up.

Bills suck, Music is fun, Girlfriends are awesome. That's just how it goes. The new band may not get us tons of cash and mansions with zebra bitches and cocaine bushes, but at least it will be fun, and it will be something to do that let's us gain at least a little bit more happiness than we had before.

See you later today.

man i LOVE zebra bitches. yeah im into doing something just for fun with not a lot of pressure. i was just thinking about the days where i'd go over to reilly's and play mxpx and blink songs and how it was just fun and the thought of shows and recording never really entered my mind. i just wanted to play the guitar. i just wanna JAMMMMMMMMMMMMM blam.
