It's Thanksgiving. And a barrage of conservative Christians are about to come over and eat at my house. So that should be interesting.

And tomorrow I have to be at work at 4 AM in the morning to work an 11 hour shift. And that might just very well suck.

But other than that, things have been really good lately. Just to let everyone know.

Good to hear from you. Hope you have a good time with family. Do you have anybody in your group that is remotely capable of understanding you? It is difficult to be around that environment all the time, especially if they are reprimanding you or trying to get you to "see the error of your ways".

I will be spending my Thanksgiving surrounded by a fallen away Buddhist, two uncommitteds, and a deeply devout Konko (a mid 19th century sect based on Shinto traditions but with certain traits that hail from Buddhist and Christian traditions as well, very wierd interesting mix. Was outlawed during WWII by the Japanese military government for being suspect and their tendency to passivist beliefs). Nobody tries to convert anybody to anything, they just all sit down and eat too much and watch sports all day.

Today was so stressful just having everyone at my house but I feel better now that everyone is gone and I think I might go eat some mashed potatoes.
