So we left the beach house today with little fanfare and a seagull that somehow reminded us of Kirus. I'll be missing it, in a way. It's a nice place to vacation, and it's a very pretty city, but I can feel how crowded it is more keenly than in Kelowna. So, in short, happy to be heading home.
The entryway... with Clara programming our electronic guide to get us to our first stop, Weed California. The couches and chairs in this living room is where we spent a lot of our time.
The dining room that mostly just held our packages...
The twin bedroom (Clara stayed here)
And the master bedroom (Carmen's room)
A peek into the bathroom of course...
And the bunkbeds, which were my base of operations.
The Kitchen...
And the back decks, where I burnt myself, and of course the beach beyond.
The show got on the road at a decent time. We were packed up and ready to go just before noon, which was when we had to get out of dodge.
Hey Sam, remember that congested seven lane highway? XD
We were almost out of San Jose when a Wild Tollbooth appeared!
We used four dollars... it was super effective.
And those warships I told you guys I would get pictures of on the way out....
The drive went well... we had great weather the entire way... Which meant that I could actually SEE Mt. Shasta.
We pulled into Weed around six... did hottub, ate subway, and watched shows about BBQ. (I love the Food network way too much. :O) Clara's bugging me to turn out the lights and go to bed now... so I'll be heading off... but I'll see you tomorrow in Oregon!
G'night!
