Just the bits on YouTube. What I've seen is alright, but this version of Jumping Jack Flash blows that one out of the water. In fact, this might be the best one I've ever heard/seen.
I have seen Gimme Shelter, though, which accomplished the strange feat of making The Rolling Stones both my favorite and least favorite band. The live document from that tour (Get Your Ya-Ya's Out) is also superb.
my uncle can be briefly seen in "gimme shelter" he tells me, for he was there, at that concert. lucky, lucky. my mom was supposed to go. i still need to see it!
i just read that marianne has breast cancer. that made me so sad. she is going to be alright though.
thursday on some sort of PBS channel i watch the awesomest documentary on andy warhol and the factory days. it was so good, but very long and i ended up falling asleep.
have you seen the new book about edie coming out next month? it's looks so wonderful. i want it, but it's like $50. ::sigh::
i don't really have a reliable tv, so i didn't get to see it, but my mom called and told me all about it! it sounds lovely and sad. she fell asleep too and woke up at the part where they talked about how he died. she said she sobbed all day. heh, i would too.
