It's weird and funny to look back and see how you were over a 2 year period, and to see how much that has changed and shaped you. Not that I would ever wish for anyone to go through that bullshit, but in the long run, it just seems to be better. I am a lot better these days and back to being who I was before those 2 years. In fact, I am better than ( Read more... )

Sometimes, I think we have to go through shitty periods/relationships before we can really start to grow up & figure out our identities/what kind of adult we want to be. I know that for me it took a really, really hard & lonely time in order for me to begin to grow up & figure myself out, etc. & I hope you feel better soon! I know how awful it is to be sick when you're alone. I was sick a lot when I lived in Seattle & it's so hard to not have someone there to take care of you.

I completely agree. Going through shitty things changes you a lot, and hopefully in the long run molds you into a great person, because you have learned so much, and know what you like/don't like. so, while i hated going through it, i am also thankful for it, because it opened my eyes.

yeah, i am not used to taking care of myself when i am sick. it's the one thing i become a huge baby about. i miss having family or a boyfriend to fix me soup or just hold my hand.

thank you miss. i promise to write and send things soon. life is so hectic, but not hectic enough for me to be a good friend, and i feel awful for not staying in touch. not one day goes by that i don't miss you and love you.

Definitely! It's something that's really useful to go through, even though it's hell at the time. It helps you out later, definitely.

& No worries! I am SO bad with mail lately. ugh. love to you!!

I'm glad that things are going so well for you right now. I think a positive attitude can make things feel so much better, even if there are things missing from your life. You can't have everything all at once, the little steps are so important! Bravo for being happy! That is the most important thing. :D

I hope you feel better. *pours you some more tea*
