I was up at 6:30am yesterday to go to work. I worked all day, left to buy cookie cutters with my pastry chef, came back for happy hour and drinks, left to take a shower, met up with Christopher from Olympia at Powell's, came back to work for my tips, didn't get my tips until midnight, had more drinks, and stayed at work until 3:30am to help Brian ( Read more... ) -
somewhat cryptic rant
So, thanks to a certain lame intern at work who decided to walk out early on his shift today, I get to go back to my morning weekends for the time being. That said, how am I going to get to work by 9am, when it's 2 am now, and I can't sleep? I am the exact opposite of tired. Ok, maybe a little sleepy, but fuck. Is it totally dorky and cliche that I want to get a tattoo of the outline of Washington State on one hip, and an outline of Oregon State on the other? And then there will be a heart where Spokane is, and one where Portland is.

I stayed up until 6am. I fell asleep with the intention of getting up at 9 (when the laundry room opens), put laundry in the washer, go back to bed for a half hour, wake up to put laundry in the dryer, and repeat. I got up at 9:30, dressed, and heard voices from the laundry room, so I didn't go in. I still chicken out when I am faced with going in ( Read more... )
