here i am, at the end of a long week, listening to enya and outside traffic. after saturday, 1701 e. court street will have one fewer occupant. another round of goodbyes. we'll return to strangers as quickly as we became family, because new york is far from here. i've stopped expecting things to "settle down," but i think i could embrace change

i liked how you phrased the whole "family" + "strangers" thing. oh dear, it makes me sad. also, the weather is indeed being a huge jerk--i would rather be biking in fall beauty rather than summer heat. hopefully soon??
