My first real day

So I went to St. Mary's today on my first real day with patients. I was excited and it really wasn't bad. I didn't mess anything up too bad and you know no one died. And I felt all smart walking around the hospital to the different floors and pulling charts on my patients and looking them over. And no one came up to me and said hey little girl

oh, I totally feel like I'm walking around just pretending like I know what I'm doing. I was looking up some data for some kinetics and I was supposed to put in an order for labs to be drawn, and I got to hand the chart to the ward clerk and say, "this has a new order, can you fax it for me, please?" It was the shit:)
