I was counting down the hours (as you know), I was counting down the minutes, I was gearing up and so so excited. I got home later than I expected tonight, since I went out to watch a movie instead of plotting my book. No problem, no rush. I have thirty days, after all. I have managed to get about 4000 words so far today (most of them words like "part one" "part two" and random literary quotes I am planning to use to set scenes. I have also put in a few bits that don't fit in with anything yet. I have just dotted them all over the document in the hope that my mad cutting and pasting will eventually make some sort of sense.

I have now realised that my original plan is really not going to work - I am just going to have to sit down tomorrow and work out what to do next.

I am starting to panic a little now.
