Out of the gates

Not too shabby a start. A slight delay out of the gates, I didn't start until 12:15am, but I hit the ground running. I wrote for about three-quarters of an hour, and got in about 804 words. Then today, on the commute to work, I thought out a bit more of the plot and outline (still don't have a name for my hero ( Read more... )

Wow, that's pretty good!
Do you have a laptop?
I'd love to write in different places, but writing it by hand and then typing it up is too timeconsuming, and opens the gates for a flood of self-doubt....

Yes, I don't actually have a desktop, just the laptop. It was a conscious decision to be more mobile and encourage writing. I don't think I could get anything done if I wrote by hand.

Ah, I did pizza the night before, and we had no more left. You see, hands-free meals also have to involve not going to the grocery store :)
