catmint tea? I wish I had a picture from the time I found my cat head first in an almot empty cup of tea, licking the peppermint off the bottom...

Neither of my cats like human drinks... human food on the other hand must always be offered in case it is pleasing to the furry ones.

I loved that first poem. Didn't make it through the second - the length was too daunting. But the first one was inspired.

"For he counteracts the Devil, who is death, by brisking about the life."

The first poem is a new find for me, and reminded me of the second.

It was written in the 18th Century, by Christopher Smart; whenever I read poetry about cats I come back to this to enjoy the rhythm of repetition and lovely turns of phrase. "For he can spraggle upon waggle at the word of command." Hee!
