Crikey!

Nowhere seems to escape, these days. Great swathes of North Yorkshire flooded a few weeks back, too.

Worcester escaped flooding last year, as far as I remember, but we usually make the news with the Severn sloshing into town.

Yeh, I just caught a 'main news' and I see Wales have been badly affected too, fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse and that Worcester escapes it again.

It's usually Wales' fault when we flood, and it's been chucking it down here too this afternoon. Like you, I'm well out of the way, but it creates havoc in the city if the main bridge has to close.

I'll send the wellies and armbands over Trish. We got flooded out in Leeds in May, but I missed it cos I was perving in MK :D Was well shocked though as I was living atop a steep hill at the time, thankfully our flat was missed even though it was a ground floor. It did cause a BIG problem when asbestos tiles was discovered. Kind of plummets house costs as people panick about that stuff without knowing bugger all about it.

Anyway hope you don't get flooded or FIL for that. Is FIL going to stay in his flat?

Soory I've taken so long to reply AZ.....RL got in the way *sighs*, everything dried up okay and the FIL was okay, they kept the floodgates up for a few day's to make sure so he didn't need to move out, thank goodness.
One of the other towns in the area have had it really bad and are still trying to clean-up, a lot of shop's were flooded out and need to be re-fitted etc.
