I can resist anything except temptation

I might, possibly, find myself in a place surrounded by an incredible abundance of crafting*-related shiny this weekend. If you've been in my library recently** you'll know that I already own a reasonable abundance of crafting-related shiny, so in order for there still to be room for the books, I need to exercise some restraint.

So, how did the weekend get on - did you manage to break all the rules, or just a few?

Somewhat disbelievingly, I can tell you that I broke none of the rules! (And not 'nine' as I just typoed that ;-)

I bought eight kinds of fibre (all hand-dyed and difficult or impossible to get online), four kinds of sock yarn (all reduced or hard to find), two books, one knitting needle and a bag. OK, technically I could have got the needle and the bag online, but they wouldn't have been cheaper and I'd've had to pay postage. Go me!
