I've just noticed that the icon I use to actually represent me (as opposed to representing the subject I'm writing about) was wildly out of date. So because obviously there's nothing more important I should be doing, here is the new short-haired, colour-wearing, silver-coloured-laptop-using me

They're tights really - the skirt I'm wearing them under is a bit more visible in the non-laptop version of the icon. (Why, yes, it is modelled on an actual outfit that I wear.)

And, aww, if I'd known you'd miss the hair I'd have saved it for you ;-) I love it short, and haven't missed it for as much as a minute :-)

Nice icon, apparently some American professor reckons that whilst procrastinating , the crap you do to avoid the thing your supposed to be doing,should be treated as an accomplishment.Now what was it I was supposed to be doing?Ah thats it preparing to pick up children instead of arsing about on the internet...
