Oh, I like this. I like this very much. The concept is fantastic, & I love the background, & the way you brought in the huge shift the Vulcans will have to make to their culture to survive.

Any chance of a ficlet or two later to update us on what happens with the Vulcan, & with Spock & Jim's 'donations'? I really hate to put this universe down, now...

I'd like to do some more someday. I've bits of ideas about sequels, and Jim's reaction to the kids. We'll have to see. This took me forever to pull together. I've never written something so long, and I never expected it to be so long.
