I'm battling with my first migraine since starting acupuncture (moved to every other week since I was doing so well, LOLSOB), so I decided another post was in order. Since I'm literally filling my cart at www.villainess.net, let me tell you why I personally prefer them above every other skin care line.

First of all, I freakin' LOVE your "So You Want To..." posts, because they're amazingly helpful and I like getting to see you display your bad-ass knowledge to the world.

Also (since triskelmoon already knows this), an aside for the audience: I use Villainess (I like the Krakatoa Smooch and, when I remember to apply, the Whipped as well, and I'm in love with the Datura oil-based facial cleanser). It is more expensive than the bottom-shelf stuff that you can get in the drugstore (which is what I always went for in the past, since, unlike triskelmoon, I do not have a Buried Hippie inside of me but I do have a Super Tightwad right here on the surface), but it is totally worth it to me. Not only because the products really work (again, I don't have triskelmoon's knowledge of parabens, etc., but these products feel great when I use them on my skin and they make my skin feel smooth and beautiful), but also because having something a little special, a little above the basic minimum need, reminds me that I deserve to be treated well, both by myself and others.
