We lost a kitty that looked so much like Mackie several years ago from the same thing. I hope you get as much time as possible with Mackie. I do think cats are far more pragmatic about death than humans - they seem to accept it as part of life, whereas we have a hard time with that.

The cats and I send many purrs and healing thoughts for all of you (we also sent you a very small PayPal donation - from katmish )
