Work’s still not going well. I think my manager might be in trouble for breaking me, but the fact is, I am broken. I’m done being a team lead in this chain of command.  I’m going to start working with Becky

I'd insert the "You can always come to THIS side of the country!" quip, but I think that this point I'll just pull for your work situation to mend up.
