I've always been an nVidia supporter, I have to admit though I did start to loose the faith a bit when the 9800 series kicked the SHIT out of the 59** series GeForce cards and there was no apparent come-back from nVidia.

The 6800 is an awesome come-back. Good of ATI to bring the X800 to the party as well, shame it doesnt measure up :).

I actually succumbed to the 9600 after receiving some advice from a friend. Since then I have traded it for a 5700 and I no longer speak to the person who recommended the ATI card to me. True story.

Tristan,I'm looking to upgrade my 64 meg Voodoo 2 (i think). I would probably be looking around $200. I usually play sport games and games such as Red Alert and Warcraft. What would you recommend.

I feel dirty after saying this but probly the best thing for aroumd 200 - 250 would be the ATI 9600xt. The 5700 Geforce FX is slightly more expensive and actually isnt as fast, but as Tudders says earlier it might be more reliable.

Why would you want a large video card company to lick your balls?

Now do you want everybody in the company to? or just the VP of the company?

I'd probly go with everyone in the entire company.

But having said that I'd get a stunt double since I dont really like the idea of a whole lot of guys licking my balls, it'd be much better to get someone who would enjoy it more. Plus some of them might be pissed off that their company sucks so much and might try to bite.

after tasting your balls they're either going to kill themselves or make a better video card just so they don't have to do it again.

Lets hope they go and make a better video card. I'd hate to have to tell people I had lethal balls.
