It's one of the first weekends I feel like doing something. I was thinking of just going for a walk along the beach. But everybody I know actually has a life and are busy with work, school, etc. What a bummer.

We were talking about names at work today and someone said they were glad that I go by "Trista" instead of "Tristalyn". I was told that apparently the full version sounds like a stripper name.

I finally got to see my name in print! I just got a copy of The Rural Voice magazine which printed my article on farm stress. They printed one of my photos too, which is just a picture of my dad standing in a field. They only changed a bit of my article, so they must have been satisfied with it.
