I agree with televison without pity... and the newspaper websites

spoiler websites on tv shows, scholar google (to reassure myself I'm studying), football websites, blogs

but its usually MSN.

Thank you, Hannah! I'm browsing through it now, and at the very least, there are some thought provoking articles there.

Just read a book excerpt on U2 and the scriptures - some lovely words there. My favourite by far:
The Bible, despite its reputation in some circles, is not a 'rule book' for the moral judgments of the fundamentalists. The Bible is actually a wild place, full of flawed heroes, the worst villains, powerful poetry, and that most amazing reality of all at the center of it - grace.

How do people watch YouTube at work without it being obvious? I use Salon, the NY Times, the Guardian. But these days it's more to take a much-needed break in a crazy day.

MSN is a good one...

MSN is like a blackhole for me. *shakes head* Once I get sucked in, that's it for the real world. Which is why I never sign on anymore. :)

:) Well, we only just met, but if you want to waste time my MSN address is in my user profile.

I'm sort of the opposite - I can talk on MSN and drift off halfway. I guess that makes me an IM narcoleptic.
