Cupcakes are all the rage

In June, the girlgang baked lurid bright technicolour cupcakes which were sweeeeet to make and sweeeet to look at. (I particularly like my alien cupcake on the bottom right)

Yup, Su Linn ordered from Cupcake Momma... she said she asked for more "manly" cupcakes - not too pink! haha. :)

these cupcakes are pretty and all, definitely a must for parties. but they also have this glazed icing look, hence giving me the idea it's all sugared up. and i hate overly sweet stuff, so i am a bit wary about them.

The pink ones on top? Yes those were a bit sweet, even though we halved the sugar called for in the recipe. Our first try, so the icing not stiff enough too. Fun to make though. :) The brown ones from Cupcake Momma were not so sweet.

yeah, the pink ones look like they can kill people with sugarload. definitely will get some from Cupcake Momma, just have to find an occasion..
