(I bought a shiny gold wristlet at Dorothy Perkins for $18 recently, or I'd happily join you on the Coach wristlet bandwagon! Though there *is* a monogram pochette thingie that I've been tempted to buy, too..)

haha you have succumbed to the dark side!!

coach is actually 'affordable luxury'. especially if you buy from america, and from an outlet store. to be honest, i would skip their small items and go for the big bags. coach is basically great 'cos you get good quality leather and decent workmanship for a decent price. and you get less of these advantages with the smaller items.

word on the street (makeupalley) is that coach sent out a 25% discount voucher to selected customers in america. but it seems like stores have their own copy of the voucher and some people managed to get the discount by pretending to have 'forgotten' to bring their own copy of the voucher...

Big bags? I like your argument but cannot cannot. Psychological barrier. :P I will have to marry well (ie husband must be well off and love me much in a Coach-able mixture of the two) or earn much more to breach that big bag barrier. Heh. Although you never know, I could break down that barrier with enough days of boredom and frustration!

hehe, can can! buy a big one that is classic that can re-use lots. and over time, the bag will pay for itself. that's how i justify my bags. :P i buy the bags that match with everything so can wear a lot. and since the quality is good, can keep for v long. so cost/use is low!!
