So I was a little too busy yesterday rewatching this ep every spare minute I had to post my thoughts on it, but I've finally managed to drag myself away from all that angst and TEAM LOVE and TEAM-Y GOODNESS and just general awesomeness so here I am! God, I'm so in love with this ep (and with Spike, but you already knew that ;o))!

And it was interesting to see Spike open up like that... I agree it's one of the best episodes.
And you know I agree about Sam, too. ;)
You have to wonder what his mom was thinking when she got the call asking about him... we know how his dad felt about his job, what about how his mom really feels?

LOL! hee.
Yes, I wondered about that myself. Spike did mention she still has high hopes for him, which would suggest she doesn't think too highly of his current job. But, >>I dunno, she's struck me as the type who wouldn't really mind what her son does for a living as long as he's happy.
I think I agree. When she asked Spike to quit, it seemed more like trying to keep the peace in the family than *she* herself really wanted him to quit.
>>Looking forward to seeing what they come up with!
What's that like, to look forward to what they come up with for your favorite character? ;)
I'm interested to see what's in store for Spike too!

You're right, the Flashpoint fandom is TINY so ep reviews and such - especially on LJ - are few and far between. Which is sad, because it's such a good show!
In my country we get Flashpoint eps quite regularly, but they haven't gotten past season 2 yet. They're just endlessly repeating the frst two seasons! So unfortunately I've had to cheat to keep up with the show... May I ask where you're from?
Loved hearing from you! Hope you'll stick around! :o)
