Right now, I'm looking at the horizontal line that starts with au:apocalypse. For that one, I'm probably going to play it straight and write the Natasha femslash AU that I've mentioned before (either Natasha/Pepper or Natasha/Darcy, can't decide. Both have their appeal!). For au:steampunk, I'm almost definitely going to do a Thor/Loki Old West-with-technomagic AU that's been simmering in my head for ages. I haven't written it yet because I was afraid I'd unintentionally rip off the Dark Tower series, but giving it a steampunk bent would help me go in a totally different direction. Fusion - almost certainly an Avengers/Kushiel's Legacy AU (Avengers characters in Terre d'Ange, I mean), possibly modernized. I'm not entirely sure what to do about au:daemons - might reread the HDM series to get ideas for a fresh take on it, and might write in a different fandom for that one - and I have no clue about animal transformation. That's never been a trope or kink I've been into, so I don't even know where to start.
I do have a few other things I want to write - at least two more installments of the Ball & Chain series, at which point I will probably be done with it, and the sequel to Devil By Your Side, which is proving to be incredibly difficult. (If anyone is willing to toss around a few ideas with me, I'd love that.) And of course my fannish investment in Star Trek will rear its ugly head again once the movie comes out, so there's that.
I've been shitty about keeping up with my flist/dwircle. Sorry about that! I will do better this year, I promise.
