So, I know basically nothing about Star Trek besides what I've learned on the Internet, but I liked this fic. It painted a compelling picture of T'Pring, and I really enjoyed that - she sounds like a very interesting character.

Wow, I commend you for putting up with all the Trek on my tumblr, lol.

T'Pring really is fascinating. She only shows up in one episode of TOS, and in that one she proves to be a master manipulator, and essentially maneuvers her situation using old Vulcan ritual to turn it in her favor without breaking the law - and she does it for love, naturally, and because she didn't want to be just "the consort of a legend". I think you'd like her character a lot.

Wow. Well, I think you managed to get most of that across in this little fic. She should join the Machiavellian Ladies Club.

She really should.

Wow, great depiction of T'Pring. I adore her while the rest of fandom brushes her off as just a bitch, and, wow, that is the story of my life and my favorite female characters. Anyway, I liked the idea of T'Pring as a doctor. I laugh and pity her staff and patients.

Haha, T'Pring would be an excellent doctor in terms of competency, but with such a terrible bedside manner.

I imagined the Dr. was a PhD. T'Pring is a total favourite of mine, I can't believe the amount of fandom ire directed at her. In only a few minutes on screen she showed herself to be practical and passionate with a desire not to be the 7-year fk-buddy of an emotionally and physically unavailable man. Good for her! This was a lovely short piece with excellent charecterisation and shot through with the steel of her character. She is self-aware, but not self-absorbed. Thanks!

I absolutely loved this. You did a wonderful job with T'Pring's story and character. I agree with everyone else- it's sad that such a strong female character should get so much hate, especially for really following what she wanted to do instead of what society dictated. I loved the way you portrayed her, and her interaction with Spock.

And I just love the idea of her being a doctor. :-)

Thank you so much! I really love T'Pring (or what we saw of her, at least!) and I'm glad I did her character justice.

In one of the books (The Vulcan Academy Murders, maybe?), there was a Vulcan character who was a doctor, and the precision of her emotional control was a big reason why she was so successful at her job. I thought T'Pring would be an excellent fit for such a profession, given that and her drive to succeed. :)

I like her too. :-) And you did a wonderful job.

I always thought that Vulcans would make great surgeons. I believe there was a Vulcan doctor on the Enterprise-D during the run of TNG... :-)

This is amazing. I've always loved T'Pring, and there are so few stories that portray her positively or delve into her character. Brilliant job, truly. You should write more T'Pring.... maybe in the Mirror verse. I can see that as being incredibly violent yet beautiful as well.

Thank you so much! I won't lie, I find mirrorverse!T'Pring to be a very intriguing character. There's a good chance that I'll write something about her one of these days.
