Boo! OTOH, Obama keeps talking about putting ourselves in service of others. This is me trying to make you feel a little better but knowing it may be futile. ;)

Thanks for the thought. :) I actually got my dates mixed up, so I'll be able to watch history today like everybody else!

Oh man, that sucks. I thought it was bad when I had jury duty a couple of days before Christmas this year.

Jury Duty is so depressing, but I bet you had some interesting people watching in SF. The good news is that I'm a total flake and I got my dates mixed up, so no Jury Duty today. :)

Well, the good news is that I'm a total flake. I got my dates mixed up, so I'll be schlepping on over there this Friday. BTW, I think Kings County Jury Duty is worse than going to a NYC DMV. At least they have wifi there now.

Will you be able to go to jury duty and than leave right away? We're allowed to do that here in L.A. and than you're on call in a manner of speaking.

Man, I would love that. NYC is sometimes behind times in that aspect. But good news for me, I got my dates mixed up, have to serve on Friday not today. Yay!

BTW, I'm sorry I didn't get in touch with you this last holiday while we were in SoCal. I was being held hostage by my family, and even worse, they are still on a dial up connection! I'll try planning things better next visit.
