First of all: I'm in a good mood because I have rediscovered Zachary Quinto. But more on that in a bit.
So, Born This Way.... not as godawful as Night of Neglect, but really boring. It's sad to see that Glee is seriously going downhill and gaining momentum on the decline. "Unpretty" was nice, none of the other songs did it for me. Kurt's comeback song went on FOREVER. And I'm sure this show used to be funny, right? It used to be hilarious. Now everyone talks quietly about their stupid problems. And the preaching has gotten out of hand. Will was such a douchebag to Emma, taunting her with unwashed fruit, basically bullying her into having a therapy session? And the doctor doesn't speak to her, just gives her medication? How healthy. Don't get me started on how the Glee club peer-pressured Rachel out of getting her nose fixed. Surely telling someone to stay the way they are, even when they're unhappy with themselves, because they were "born that way" is just as bad as telling someone to fix something they're happy with?!
The whole show's so bad now. And it's only the second season. Also, what was the point of having an epic makeout session with Darren Criss if all Blurt will do afterwards is a chaste hand-holding and maybe even a risque hug now and then? So annoying. And I really, really hope they keep Darren in the show. He's so delightful.
Speaking of delightful, after re-watching the first season of Heroes... I remember how much I love Zachary Quinto. How could I have forgotten?! Not only is he a good actor (and I don't say that lightly) but he's so adorable. I love that he can be sweet and vulnerable and then go straight (erm, no pun intended) into dark and imposing. And those eyebrows! Rawr. xD
I keep meaning to watch the new Star Trek because he's in it, but I don't know - his character is supposed to be all cold and unfeeling, and I love ZQ all Sylar-like and scruffy xD like he is in the first few seconds of this trailer for some awful movie that's supposed to be the death of romantic comedy, but I sort of want to watch it. I mean, Anna Faris, right? You can't go wrong with Anna Faris :D Youtube won't let me embed, but here's the link...
Also, you guys should watch Hostage: A love story because ZQ's in it and he's funny and he says 'fuck' a lot :D
