In the grove at the top of the mountain, there is a small temple. Inside the temple, there is the glow of a fire burning branches of olive wood and the smell of incense wafting through the air. A life-sized marble statue of Athena, garbed in a gold silk chiton, stood in the sanctuary

In a temple of Apollo, in a dimension far from the world upon which Triv prayed, a young priest listened to the words of his god.

"You want me to go through this portal, to heal the soul of a young man I find there? And I'll be met by a priestess of Athena? I see. Well, no time like the present." He hefted a pack and walked forward, through the shimmering disk of light that opened before him.

Triv was still waiting when a disk of light opened before her, radiating divine power like sunlight. She stood, ready to greet the visitor that the gods had sent her

Alec has been avoiding people, or at least the indoors, and been spending time resting on the beach, dozing most of it, dreaming of Orion.

Hearing Triv's and Argosy's footsteps, he bolts upright from his doze. Blinking the sun from his eyes, he gives a gasp and struggles to get up on his feet. Which fails utterly because of his hurt leg.

"Easy, Alec. This isn't the Argosy you know. He's here to help."

Triv had somehow managed to stir up some hash browns and eggs by the time they got to the kitchen, and was just finishing the toast when they arrived. Why breakfast food? Who knows - Triv's sense of time (and concern with such) is rather elastic.

"Come in and sit, lunch is almost ready." She'd put out plates, and started dishing food out.

Alec promptly ignores Victor in the pursuit of food. He sits obediently and waits for the food to be served before inhaling.

Victor isn't too far behind him, although he does take the time to properly thank his hostess and his table manners are better. Before he's more than halfway done, though, he's nodding off at the table.

Alec has table manners. In theory. He does glance at Victor when the man falls asleep.
