I feel your pain. I, who waited till the last minute, have only had one interview with some random woman that called me back. I was impressed.

But one interview for an article isn't much of an article. :)

He finally called me back...to say that he can't get the permissions he needs for me to be able to publish anything he says. WTF!!! So my article will just be a backgrounder on what DNA is and how it's tested.

Believe me, copy editor is all I want to be, for the very reason that I don't have to talk to anyone :)
