{{Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hugs}}

Again.

I know what that can be like. Thankfully, not through personal experience, but a friend of mine had to wait an AGE to get an appointment, and all the while she was going nuts over it all.

On the bright side, everything came good for her. So following in her footsteps mightn't be too bad afterall.

Just keep calling them, bugging them, kicking up a fuss. Make yourself a force to be reckoned with.

Failing that, get me your doctor's home phone number and I'll call him when I'm at work every day. A few wake-up calls at about three in the morning should ensure an appointment pretty quick!

Thanks Jen, You're right, I need to keep on at them and I will. I'm going to get it sorted today. If there's nothing wrong then I can stop worrying, and if there is something that needs treatment I can get it sorted.

Thanks for the hugs and advice. xx

I think Jen means me! I waited from September until February :O for an appointment. The NHS in Swansea had such a long waiting list...really ridiculous.

Like you I was so annoyed at being made to wait when they tell you to get to the doctor's ASAP if you find something. But everything was fine in the end. Keep on at them and good luck!

Just try not to keep checking for lumps mate, I think you will drive yourse;f mad finding things that may not even ve there.

My friend had to wait an age to see the doc and it turned out she just has this common breast lumpy thing.

Im sure everything will be fine hon. Stay strong.

Yeah I have to admit I'm getting obsessive and it's silly - especially now because it's my time of the month anyway.

It's good to hear about other people's positive stories so thanks hun. x

Try and stay positive about it chick (easier said than done I know), like your doc's said 95% turn out to be nothing to worry about. Keep on at them though if you don't get your appointment through soon, you need to be put at ease and it's part of their job to do that.

*hugs*

Yeah hope it all works out for you Donna, I'm sure it will all be fine - just try and stay positive and try not to let it get you down - even if that is hard sometimes. I know what it's like waiting around for appointments. It sucks. But you do have to keep on at them x
