If he wants you to have a needle biopsy, I've had one and it was ok. They get a very fine needle and take some cells from the lump. It's so thin you can barely feel it. I had an ultrasound as well.

Mind you, that was only the first time when I was 20, the one I had last year was no biopsy at all! :)
