OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Like, if they weren't married in the Church though, I wouldn't feel as strongly as I do. BUT SACRAMENTS, YO.

EXACTLYYYYYYYYYY.

Like, fine, you get married in a civil-only ceremony and then decide to get divorced, I mean, I still don't agree with it, but God wasn't involved so whatever, you know?

BUT DAMMIT WHEN YOU STAND IN FRONT OF AN ALTAR AND PROMISE TO LOVE HONOR AND OBEY SO HELP YOU GOD IT IS A SACRAMENT AND YOU DAMN BETTER WELL TREAT IT AS ONE.

SO BASICALLY "SACRAMENTS, YO" AND THE FACT THAT PEOPLE FUCKING DISMISS HER FAITH AND SAY "OH BUT IT WAS REALLY ABOUT THE MONEY" CAN I JUST PUNCH YOU PLEASE BECAUSE FAITH IS A THING AND SACRAMENTS ARE A THING AND YOU BETTER RESPECT THE THING.

RESPECT THE THING. (Doctor Who, yes?)
I suppose it depends on how Duff decides to play this whole thing out - I doubt he realises JUST how important the sacraments are. And perhaps he shouldn't have chosen Catholicism for Sharon if he doesn't really understand how these things work and how people actually respect them when they are practising - which Sharon may not actually be practising, as I've mentioned before.
Or whatever.
