Call centers suck, especially the one you described! I hate any sort of up-selling and time limits/number of calls you are required to take. I'm not sure how I managed to work 5 years on the phones, but damn it feels good to be away from it. I got lucky the last four years working for a much smaller and laid-back company.
*hugs* good luck with ON (my former roommate worked there for about a year) and the education thing. That school/situation sounds hella shady and sketchy :-(
