Yeah the subject is part of the chorus line for one of shania twains new songs i really love it, its got a good message behind it. Shania is movin back onto my good side. I couldn't sleep! It's really nice to hear about your life, since I never really do. I'm sorry that I'm not there, but I had to come here to make a life. I miss you more than you could ever know...I've missed so much....but please know how much I care! Being all "in college" here is my advice to you:

Don't worry about what your major is now, you are a junior in high school.
That isn't something you have to declare until you are a junior in college. Also a lot of people go to college without having a major, or without being sure of their major. College is a place to experience new ideas and classes.

As for being a mechanic, that's cool. If your dad doesnt like it maybe he is just worried about your options. I mean if you choose mechanic now instead of college, it is harder to go back someday and go to college. Really hard. And having a college degree gives you the option to switch careers- without one it is desparetly hard.

Plus Ross you will definitely get into college, especially with all the extra circulars. PLUS it's a good opportunity to meet new people- who may not be as crazy awesome as the old people, but they are pretty cool.

ANYHOW I miss you. & you should cell me.

^^ Everything Jen said is true. And also, this is the same advice that I gave Cristina in her journal a while ago so you might have read it already, but if you think you might want to take a year off or if you're not sure if you'd want to go, my advice would be to apply, and if you decide you don't want to go right after high school, defer admission for a year from whichever school you choose. Then you could have the whole year off bit and stuff, and if you changed your mind and decided you did want to go to college, it would be there for you.
