Good morning

This morning was reallyreally good. It is -very- nice outside. Now it's closer to 75 or so, but when I was out earlier it was like 68 degrees and there was a nice breeze blowing. Cassidy and I went to the Farmer's Market. I wanted to get some cherries and lemons and Cassidy's cookies from The Cookie Man that she likes to go to.

I bought some cherries, and some Gouda cheese curds, and the -best- iced mocha I have -ever- had. I'm dead serious. That shit was kickin'. Just the right ratio of espresso flavour to chocolate, and all creamy and icy, and wasn't too heavy like the Caffino place had been making them. It was perfect. I also got the -best- nectarines I've ever had. They were crisp and tart and sweet all at once. Very, very good. Cassidy sampled some of the cherries at one booth, and dripped dark cherry juice all down her chin. Eeesh.

Then I looked for this -really- good bread we got several weeks back when Dorkboi (tm) was here. It was Garlic-Parmesan bread, and it was -so- delicious. I found the booth where they sold it, and asked, and they didn't have any left. But I found out they have a shoppe here in Davis, so Cassidy and I headed down there to see if they had some left. They did! I bought a loaf of the Garlic-Parmesan and a Jalapeno-Cheddar. Both are absolutely delicious. And I bought Cassidy a piece of pizza for lunch there. She seems to be enjoying it.

Oh, and I got the Berkeley project finished. Realized, as I was proofreading it on the BART that I didn't do a good enough job proofreading initially, because I had some pretty stupid mistakes. A couple of dumb grammatical ones, but a more severe one: I had Gloucestershire in the "southest" of England. I know it's ghetto, but I had to cross of "east" and change it to "west." *sigh* And I realized there were 3 saints in my "Table of Proper Names" that I didn't explain. And on my codicological description, I had a heading for "Ruling," but never wrote anything underneath that. I crossed that one off ghetto-style with a pen, though, too. *sigh*

Oh well.
