I don't know why, but advertising was VERY important to me when I was a child. I LOVED commercials! My Grandma was always reminiscing about how between the ages of 2 to 5, I would go through the grocery store with her and I would sing jingles and recite taglines for just about every product on the shelves! So today, I was saddened to read that "

Kidding about what? I can still recall some of those jingles and taglines, my Grandma saw it as a blessing (it showed I was bright) and a curse (it was embarrassing), and the actor who played Mr. Whipple has in fact, died.
