My sister had her baby today. My Dad just called to give me an update:

Sophia Rika Woolard
8 lbs, 6 oz, 20 3/4"

Mom & baby are doing well.

I've been busy. ( Cordelia has her first ever illness, a really bad ear infection. )

This weekend my parents bought the twins a set of underpants and a t-shirt designed to look like Robin from Teen Titans (f/k/a Robin from Batman & Robin). I don't think they are actually Underoos brand, but it's the same concept ( Read more... )

It's really sad when so-called "friends" take advantage of people. This "friend" of ours, Aaron, was going through a rough patch - he had broken up with his girlfriend and was living in a motel. Try as I might, I CAN'T keep everyone happy. It's frustrating, but when it comes down to it, family takes priority over friends.

So, I've been watching the World Cup matches with my daughter. Cordelia seems to REALLY enjoy watching soccer. She's been playing in her exersaucer with her eyes glued to the TV and whenever anything happens, she starts jumping up and down squealing with delight!
