Oh wow. That’s really pretty. Was this before the air quality got really bad with all the fires going on?

Yes, the air was still good at that point.

I notice them from time to time in SF...one time I saw a moonbow, but I failed to get my camera out and by the time I got to a better place to take a picture, it was gone. I should dig up the other sunbow picture I have.

Wow, what is that? Never seen anything like that before. It is like a cosmic transcendental manifestation of some kind of energy.

Why, it is the radiant halo surrounding trolleypup! *snerk*

See the link I added under the image. It is caused by light refracting through tiny hexagonal ice crystals high in the atmosphere.
