This place is way too disorganized and unpredictable for a system like that.

You bring up a valid point. There would need to be exemptions for curses.

I don't think there are any laws here. There's been a few killing sprees here and there. From what I could tell, no one really got punished for them, either. Heck, I think some people enforce their own personal 'laws' around here.

Vigilantism. I can't condone that either, but in a place of no laws, it's inevitable.

It takes some getting used to. Just don't make yourself anyone's target and you usually don't run into any trouble. Not counting the curses, of course.

You bring up a valid point. Truly are there any laws here?

An excellent point. Perhaps these deities have other defenses.

It's a crime to answer questions ambiguously.

Well, well. I've become a criminal...what a sad state of affairs.

Are you going to turn yourself in?

trollomancer January 16 2010, 02:22:03 UTC
No, I think I'll put up a fight. I believe I've been unfairly accused.

I don't speak for the deities here, but my definition of crime is based on the standards I hold back in my world.

But you hold no authority to enforce it here.

srslynotguy January 18 2010, 05:01:34 UTC
That is correct.

But I believe in the standard of morals present here, at least, and that most people in this city are well aware of the most basic... human laws.

That's very optimistic of you.
