Terezi is the most aggravating troll chick to ever exist. She's as blind as a bat and even more persistent than an Earth bloodhound. However, she sees Karkat for pretty much all that he is. Karkat genuinely likes and cares for her, even if he has the damnedest time trying to express it. It never works out like the redrom he sees in the movies! That and he gets insanely jealous about who talks to her and who has her affection. The problem here is that he's just unsure about looking weak and pitiful in front of her. Their relationship is something that he would rather keep private.

It's just... He might be considering admitting it in TDS.

Gamzee is a source of internal conflict. On one hand, he really is one of Karkat's best friends. What happens to him matters and Gamzee going insane really shakes Karkat. Kk doesn't want to believe that his friend is capable of killing them all with a grin on his face. He blames himself for everything that's going on and in the end that's what drives Karkat to be Gamzee's moirail in TDS. It's all about making sure Gamzee never goes on another rampage. Really, Karkat is kind of touched that Gamzee actually got all up an angry about Karkat's disappearance. Maybe there is hope for what he's trying to accomplish in TDS through being moirails.

One of two best friends, Sollux is arguably the one that knows Karkat best. Karkat has his most embarrassing moments with Sollux as witness, something that's irritating to no end. Thankfully, they forgive these acts rather quickly. Karkat can deal with Sollux's mood swings and Sollux can manage Karkat's rage. It's a friendship that is constantly flipping back and forth between hate and like. Best bro Captor happens to be someone that Karkat believes he can turn to for help and tends to look after due to circumstances in the Veil. Captor happens to be one of the people Karkat cares enough about to cry over. In TDS, Karkat is especially concerned for the well being of his friend and his frequent bouts of silence...

Spades Slick, or Jack, is pretty much the equivalent to an ally. Karkat also displays some genuine affection, as much as he can for a carapace that constantly stabs people, for Slick. Their moment of bonding happens to be due to mostly blood color and an agreement in sgrub. Now that he's in TDS with the trolls, it's taking some time to get used to this new name. Nothing else seems to have changed though and Karkat is oh so grateful for that.

Well there's really not much to say about Equius. He smells. He sweats. He has a freaking obsession with musclebeast porn and he sweats so much that he could fill a bucket with nothing but that disgusting fluid. Everything about him sort of sets Karkat on edge, but he's not dumb enough to pursue this guy as a kismesis. Karkat doesn't care to cater to Zahhak's fetishes either.

All of the respect, all of it. No, really. Karkat holds Kanaya in high regard, which really says something right there. Even though he is Gamzee's moirail, she does more to temper his attitude than the clown does. Deep down, Karkat is a little scared of her and that freaky chainsaw, but cares enough that he had cried for her death. In fact, he even tries to revive her! She is a good friend and dependable. Karkat really does appreciate her attitude towards things, especially in TDS. He's glad to have her around.

Well what to say about Nepeta? His concern for her goes about as far as it goes for all of his teammates in general. Karkat actually wants to avoid as much conversation with her as possible. As she is the Black Queen from the Trolls' session of the game, they betrayed her and pretty much ruined her. Karkat is pretty sure there are some lingering feelings of resentment there. So... He's being careful of all of that.

Karkat pretty much thinks his existence is to help John out on how the world really works, since the fuckass is way to happy and carefree for his own good. No, seriously. The kid dies waaaaaay too much. There has to be something wrong with him.

Fucking Strider! Karkat cannot hate anyone ( except for himself ) more than Dave Fucking Strider. This guy just gets on every last nerve and has to press all of the buttons! It doesn't matter what the topic is or how civil Karkat is being, Strider has to stick his nose in and fuck things up. What Karkat hates even more is the fact that they have a lot in common. That's right... Karkat realizes they are actually alike in some areas and that fact drives him even more insane. In TDS, Karkat and Strider are aware of the one thing that they are insecure about - eyes and blood.

Jade is another person that has Karkat's respect. It's through her that he has accepted that the past Karkat and future Karkat are all just simply Karkat. She sort of bulliest him around and he just takes it. There are slightly flushed feelings for her, but it doesn't actually compare to those of Terezi, to be honest. He pretty much sees her for a friend, even if the Jade from TDS is just a little before he spends the time out of his schedule to try to comfort her. That's fine though, as long as she is still willing to give him another shot.

There are special feelings towards Riruka. She is the first human he has encountered to actually try to understand how troll romance works. Riruka also has this Lusus complex that Karkat has learned to contend with. It's just not worth the effort to fight her on everything, and deep down he appreciates all of the concern and mothering that she does for him. What he wants to see, though is that she successfully confesses to Ichigo, since she is so flushed for that fuckass it's obvious. Beyond this, he really does care for her, annoying as she is.
She's still a bitch though.

Ichigo is pretty fun to troll, actually. Karkat has no hard feelings against the human, but loathes whatever it is that lurks inside of Ichigo. The thing tore a chunk out of his hand, for fuck's sake. Of course he doesn't care for that! Either way, Ichigo is pretty dependable and a decent guy. Karkat thinks he's a bit of a heroic idiot, but whatever. Honestly Ichigo does need to shape up and realize that Riruka is crushing on him. Karkat wants to see if a relationship is possible at all there.

Karkat might tease and make fun of Batman, but the guy does have Karkat's respect. Most of what Karkat shouts at him anymore is to safe face, considering the goddamn Batman has saved his husk along with many others on the island. Personally, Karkat inwardly acknowledges that the guy knows his shit and is one of those anti hero types. He still thinks it's as creepy as fuck that the Batlusus likes to follow Karkat and threadjack him when the opportunity arises.
