Because there is not enough Alan/Tron. You can choose either one.
FLUFF: Tron's memories of when he was Rinzler frighten him to the point where he has a mental breakdown and Alan comforts him before the security program kills himself. SLASH: Alan, Tron and alcohol. Tron has no clue about sex and Alan has to play teacher. Alan is a tease in my head and I don't know why, but I like seeing Tron beg.

"Pax" - well, it's more about the Latin word for "Peace" in the context of Pax Romana - peace through subjugation or neutering of potential threats across a wide-flung empire. It's also a shout-out to Penny Arcade, and their foundation showing that video games are an art form worth celebrating...and thirdly, there's the Firefly reference in that 99.9% of Programs will essentially lay down and die while a tiny percentage go insane
