The entire office went to ho chi minh city for its yearly junket. It's a parallel universe where France meets the Tropics. Communism meets commercialism. And speeding bikes run over Blahnik-clad Filipino tourists (like my friend Katrina). Observe.

you won't be disappointed with the food. the best french restaurants are excellent. the vietnamese food is like nothing you've experienced in the philippines. but it doesn't even come close to bangkok when it comes to shopping.

vietnam was in bourdain's book, too! he mentioned a few restaurants, and i'm curious to go, if not just for the food :D hahahaha!
