I would advise not going off on him in front of the whole team in the middle of practice. Take a deep breath, calm down, and then you and Joseph can pull him aside later and speak to him in a calm, rational manner. He's not going to go "Oh, okay, you're right," if you yell at him. While he may still get defensive if you both approach him in private, you have more of an opportunity to get through to him and actually make change if you are calm, rational and fair in the way you present it to him. He's not going to cave in (especially in front of the whole team) if you confront him mid-practice, especially if you start it. Doing that is just going to make you and Joeseph look like assholes, really.
