I wasted $92 on a new pair of running shoes. By the end of my second time running in them, my feet, knees and hips were screaming, "Ouch!". Guess Nikes are my true love. Time to kiss the Mizunos goodbye.

With teaching I seem to go through phases. There are spans of time that I feel on top of my game. I feel like I'm making a difference and doing everything "right". Then there are those times when I seem to be making endless mistakes and think to myself, "Maybe I am just not cut out for this profession." This past weekend I ran in the "Chilly Chili" 5k in Cazenovia. About a mile into the race, I was surpirsed to see a dog come up besides me followed by a man who was blind. It was a pretty amazing thing to observe. I mean, there were over 500 runners in this race so there street was pretty much packed with people. It just amazed me to see this dog ( Read more... )

Whenever I am waiting in line at Wegman's, I am always curiously looking at what the person infront or in back of me has in their shopping cart. I think I may have found my new running shoe. I have been a loyal Nike girl but I may be making the switch to ASICS. Tried on a pair today that felt awesome. Sorry Nike, I guess now you can fire the girl in the sweat shop who has been making all my shoes!

What is the strangest dream youhave ever had? Last night I had a dream that I saw someone breaking into the house next door. I am officially back down to the age of 27. For those of you who aren't aware, I tend to live like I am 60 (go to bed early, don't drink a lot and I am very regimented). I had a dream last night that I came home and magically there was a washer and dryer in my apartment. They even matched my cabinets in my kitchen. I was so excited. Then....I woke up.
