Not working in the corporate world anymore rocks.  However, it is not any slower.  Working day and night in my studio and things are going great.  Here’s a little update.

So I finally finished the lining on the wedding dress sleeve and all the inside seems.  All I have left is the hem and 12 more pearled squares to add (thanks to Jason for pearling the squares, he rocks!).  Nearly finished (oh, and I have to finish the trim on the back collar, that’s easy).  Redid the gussets on Nick’s tunic (only had to redo once, ( Read more... )

So wedding plans are progressing.  Been sewing like there’s no tomorrow, but enjoying some fun sewing time with Pink Monkey and the rest of the gang when I can.  Also had a blast sewing wedding dresses together with Elfa when she brought over our way cool new wedding glasses.  Cool blue and fabulous.  Almost have my dress finished, just one more ( Read more... )

Arrived in Buffalo yesterday, had some Buffalo Wings at the airport then straight to Niagara.  I went to see the falls lit up at night.  The rapids leading up to the falls were beautiful.  The falls were highlighted with rainbow colors.  I could only see the corner from where I was, but it was gorgeous.  I had to spend a couple hours just sitting ( Read more... )
